Jill Terry

I grew up in Auburn and Syracuse and raised my three children here to become successful adults. I am "hands-on," and I have a passion for helping families and individuals understand the legal process, which can be intimidating.

I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor's Degree in English/Pre-Law and from Syracuse University College of Law. I have spent 31 years practicing law, 29 of them as a trial attorney serving 18 New York counties. I work with a singular goal in mind: what is in my client's best interests, whether that means reaching a resolution outside the courtroom to save you money, or going to trial if necessary.

I understand that transitions like divorce or estate planning carry real emotional weight. My philosophy is to give you experienced guidance, honest advice and compassionate service, with the respect you deserve.

Part of having confidence in your attorney is being able to reach them. I promptly return phone calls and messages, and I make myself available to address your concerns and answer your questions.

Outside the office, I enjoy reading, traveling, snorkeling and crafts, but I treasure time with my family, my grandson and my bonus grandchildren most.
